Antonello (or Nello) is a New York City born and based Latino filmmaker who is committed to bringing authenticity and heart to storytelling. His love for film stems from growing up with an extensive VHS collection, where there was always something new to watch. Nello took that love to the next level when he picked up a camera for the first time at 15. He cares about honoring a visual identity that can combine classic cinematic techniques with a contemporary style and sensibilities.

Growing up in the Bronx has translated his experience as a scrappy creative into collaborating with the NFL, Red Bull, The North Face and his upcoming short film, Hit Me, through a fellowship with the Dolby Institute with mentorship from filmmakers DANIELS (Everything Everywhere All At Once) & Carlos Lopez Estrada (Raya & the Last Dragon).

Nello has also built a strong body of work in the social-first space as a creative partner and editor. He has edited series for NowThis (Are You Okay?, Judgy) and Overheard (Hot & Single, Happy Hour), and partnered with Bad Behavior and Harry’s to produce the series Harry’s Tub, along with one-off productions featuring Anna Delvey, Cugine, and New York Nico.
